Owned and operated by Bruce Marks, a master stylist and Londoner who trained and worked directly with hair icons such as Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, Harold Leighton and other famous professionals around the world, we are home to an experienced team of internationally-trained hairstylists experts, many of whom have been with our salon for over a decade.

Having worked for top salons in Manhattan, Vancouver and Bermuda, Bruce opened salons in Bermuda and appeared regularly on local television doing hairstyle demonstrations, educating the public on hair and beauty products, and interviewing industry experts. In the late 1970s, he opened Bruce Marks International in Old Town, Alexandria and in 1983, opened Last Tangle in Washington Salon in Adams Morgan. A few years later, our growth took us to our current location in the heart of the Golden Triangle Business District, where we continue to attract some of this region’s top stylists and skin care specialists.
